Free cooling for Aotong computing

Refrigerant-pump in-row and room cooling for a 1,100 m² computing-center facility.

Aotong, Hami · installed rack and cooling infrastructure

Project overview

The Aotong Intelligent Computing Center occupies approximately 1,100 m², with the modular data hall on the sixth floor and the power-distribution area in the basement of the same building. Coolnet supplied refrigerant-pump free cooling for the computing and power areas.

Project configuration

Data hall cooling
74 refrigerant-pump in-row units
Power-area cooling
8 refrigerant-pump room units
Main data hall
140 racks in 6 cold-aisle groups
Facility power design
Redundant dual power supply

Cooling across the facility

The main hall uses 70 in-row units; two additional hall areas use two units each. The power areas use four room units on the UPS route, two on the mains route and two in the battery room.

Power and operating layout

The project combines redundant dual power supply with refrigerant-pump free cooling for the computing and electrical rooms.
